Registered fishing vessels can now benefit from a special diesel rate of MVR 17 per litre at Hawks fuel stations across the Maldives. The initiative is aimed at supporting the fishing community by providing easier access to fuel at a competitive rate through The Hawks nationwide network.
Hawks currently operates fuel stations across 21 islands, where the special diesel price is available for registered fishing vessels. These stations are located in HA. Hoarafushi, HA. Dhidhdhoo, HA. Ihavandhoo, Sh. Feydhoo, N. Velidhoo, N. Kendhikulhudhoo, R. Hulhudhuffaaru, B. Kamadhoo, B. Dharavandhoo, B. Thulhaadhoo, K. Hulhumalé, K. Thilafushi, AA. Thoddoo, M. Muli, Th. Vilufushi, L. Isdhoo, L. Hithadhoo, L. Fonadhoo, Gn. Fuvahmulah (Dhoodigan), Gn. Fuvahmulah (Funaadu) and GDh. Madaveli.
Fishing vessel operators can access the special rate by presenting valid registration documents at the time of refuelling.
Through this initiative, The Hawks continues to strengthen its support for the fisheries sector while expanding access to reliable fuel services across the country.
